We were based on the part of the beach in front of Bistro on the Beach [see separate review]. The beach itself is lovely, slightly more stony than further up at Fisherman's Walk but still Sandy. Beautifully clean and safe with the Lifeguard Station. I...More

A brilliant beach with good views. Used to go here as a child and returned as an adult. Quieter than the nearby Bournemouth or Boscombe beach, perhaps more known to the locals, but still has great facilities.

Much quieter than Bournemouth and Boscombe but just as good with facilities. Parking a slight problem but it was a busy day...get there early... quite a walk downhill to beach but there is a lift.

A little quieter at this end of the beach. Sand fine and the beach is very clean. Areas covered by lifeguards for safety. Down side no obvious way for wheelchair users to access the beach
