    Utterly engaging
We had the good luck to be the first visitors to the new journey through time to sample the mint tea offered during the previous incarnation! But where the former trip seemed to be set mainly within a span from the 1940s to 1980s the travels of a possibly frustrated archaeologist, Florence, risk thwarting her expectations - personalities who are reliable reference points are alluded to but physically absent from the eight chapters. The space they have left is always engaging in the humorous interactionof text, image and sound. The building is not large but the journey is never cramped despite the welter of visual information which is all the work of the artist, Lafferty. She takes the viewer through dark ideas with a wonderful lightness of touch.

    A Sensory Experience
Just Great! So much to see and spot as you walk around to the accompaniment of really good music. I loved the previous installation and I wasn't disappointed with this one. The original art work is so engaging. The place is a real sensory experience.. a feast for the eyes and what ever the equivalent is for your ears. Taste buds get a treat with the mint tea and chocolate. You need to give it the time it deserves and immerse yourself in the experience.

    Sensory Time-travelling Delight!
This is a totally immersive experience. You are guided through a series of themed rooms, following the story of an intrepid time traveller, across time and space. The rooms are visually stunning, but are full of sensory stimuli… sounds, smells and textures. This is a fantastic ‘exhibition’ experience. If you are in Totnes, DO NOT MISS! It’s an absolute gem.

Do not miss this. A must see when visiting Totnes!
Thought provoking, arty and cool, if this was in the west end of London the queues would be a mile long! Martin & Julie were great hosts and made us feel engaged and welcome, we even had a Moroccan tea and a chocolate treat thrown in for good measure. Don’t miss this visual treat it’s great value for money and will leave your senses tingling.

    Totnes highlight
We visit the Narnia shop/Timehouse every time we visit Totnes. We love the shop, there is always something to buy (and please do buy something, we want the Narnia shop/Timehouse to be around for a long while more!). But of course there is also the art installation, comprising seven themed rooms, which together take you on an awesome interactive journey through time and space. Apparently the installation will close for the season at the end of September. But the shop is always worth visiting.

    Don't miss this opportunity
Erm! Where to begin? Like nothing else available this is an immersive walk through a dreamlike journey of the real and imagined. Follow in the footsteps of our protagonist (florence? If I recall) as she arrives at the station and steps in to a kind of time machine that takes her through the decades, each room defining the next stop. As an aside there is actually a section of real railway track in the basement, jeepers that took some work! Each room is lavishly arranged and loads and I mean loads of old bakelite tech line the walls, some imaginatively lit from within. I don't want to give too much away suffice to say it is if anything an incredible accomplishment by the artist (who happened to be there and we had a good chat). The final room is so far out there it has to sat in and experienced. The artist is from down under and i suppose she goes back home to avoid our winters but like a migrating bird turns up in the springtime. Overall it is a remarkable experience if a little self indulgent of the artist. Will I go again? Sure why not, just this time I'll eat a brownie beforehand.

Genius! Well worth the visit. Prompted reflections on my own experiences in my life as a young adult in the 1980s.

We only had time for a short visit but it was wonderfully weird! The modest artist served us mint tea without announcing herself - so I want to congratulate her via this review!

Amazing, one-of-a-kind experience in Totnes! One of the best things to do in the town. Incredibly interesting and inventive exhibitions and a beautiful courtyard to lounge in the sun. What more do you want!
