Since 1977 we have been making handmade leather shoes that are produced exclusively by us in Totnes, Devon. We make all our shoes using the finest quality materials and traditional cordwaining techniques. Each item has been meticulously crafted by skilled shoe makers in our small workshop which you are very welcome to look around when you visit us. We make shoes for men, women and children and carry a huge range of shoes available to buy 'off the shelf'. You can also have a pair of shoes made in your size in your choice of leather, insole, stitching and sole type to suit your needs. We also sell men and women's ethically produced fashion from the likes of Monkee Genes, People Tree, Beaumont Organic and Skunk Funk, a great range or socks and hoisery by Falke, Corrymoor, Pantherella and Cecilia De Rafael. High quality leather products: handbags, belts, wallets and more! Dogs more than welcome!

Bought my first pair of conker boots last summer, have just bought another two pairs as they are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. Very helpful staff both in the shop and on line. Just like wearing slippers!

Good, slightly folksy hand made shoes and accessories set in what was an early theatre (see the masks on the facade). It has become a Totnes institution.
