Looking for a fantastic day out? This family-owned attraction is small enough to provide a friendly and personal service, with enough to keep visitors happy all day. What sets Totnes Rare Breeds apart is the opportunity to be within hugging range of all the animals. Most enclosures can be entered for close-up stroking, patting and cuddling. The Garden Café (outside the farm) offers made-to order dishes at reasonable prices, from indulgent snacks to tasty meals.

We arrived by train from Buckfastleigh and decided to have a look around. This is mainly for children. My wife would disagree as she very much enjoyed petting the animals. Lots of the animals can be fed and bags of feed can be purchased. Half...More

Sweet little farm, ideal for toddlers. Can feed the animals and also have some guinea pigs to hold on your lap. Next to south devon railway so can catch a steam train to Buckfastleigh x

We did enjoy our visit but felt it was a good afternoon but not much there for much longer than an hour or so. Kids enjoyed feeding the animals and seeing the birds.

Hello, we are purely animal based and so do not have a play park, so while we hope your child will love the animals, it may be a bit easier to persuade them to leave :) We hope to see you soon.
