It's been a few years since we visited Torquay and I feel it hasn't changed a bit. From the minute you can see the big wheel as you are driving in it feels inviting. Car parking on both days we spent here cost £10 which...More

Visited the town 15 years ago, return visit was a let down . Depressing, miserable place , desperately in need of a makeover. Highlight had to be a gentleman asleep in the public toilets after having a clearly enthusiastic early morning beverage. Rubbish shops, exhausted...More

Nearly all the public toilets have been shut down. The distance between the only 3 left, is ridiculous, why cannot the council put in portaloos, until the drainage problem is solved? The toilets near the sea world cost 30p. The same applies to Brixham.

Have been going to Torquay for many years so it's noticeable how run down it's become. The upper part of the town has many empty shops and even those open look tired and grubby. Lots of seemingly homeless people led in doorways. The whole area...More

Had been looking forward to our stay in Torquay but feel rather disappointed. On a sunny day the harbour is beautiful because of the sea/sailing boats and the trip to Brixham was interesting. Babbacombe was a plus and the Angel's tea room worth a visit.The...More

Was £3.50 return by ferry from Brixham. Was supposed to be 25% off for disabled but worked out extra but we didn't mind paying the extra as staff on the ferry were so helpful. Town is mainly of high street shops which we did not...More
