It is a lighthouse. Who doesn't like lighthouses? And this one spent 100 years or so on the Eddystone. Yes, it is cramped, and you have to be ready for heights at the top, but the views you get are simply great.

A bit of English history and heritage on the Hoe. This lighthouse was built by Smeaton and stood on the Eddystone Rock for many years until it was replaced by the current lighthouse.
