Well worth doing to enjoy even better views then just being on The Hoe. Kids will love it . Of course lots and lots of stairs! Lots to see and do after. Plymouth has one of the most outstanding outlooks.

Fantastic panorama in every direction especially on a clear night. Better or at least different from those in the daytime.

There are nice views around the Hoe and it’s a pleasant place to stroll around. Smeaton’s Tower is a quirky addition to the area.

You would have thought that in this location you wouldn't get a better view by going up a tower, but you would be wrong. Some interesting history to go with it too.

We were accompanied by one of the custodians who provided insight into the lives of the lighthouse keepers and the Plymouth Art Weekender etchings on the windows. Good fun.

You have to come here there are wonderful places to sit and view the sound and places to sit on the lawns. Just a fabulous place to be and there are lots of bars restaurants near by too.
