Unfortunately, the Citadel closed the day we went, and it's worth noting that the opening times do seem to fluctuate from the official times. It's worth preparing an alternative just in case it is closed when you go. The building is very impressive though and...More

We walked around it and passed it a number of times during the weekend, but tour available is limited and only on certain days.

Just passing by in this amazing view especially on a sunny day. Some historic information along the way as well which is really worth knowing.

Fabulous afternoon spent on a guided tour of this place. It is still active so you can't just wander about. Our guide was knowledgeable and answered questions really nicely.
