I was so excited to come here, knowing J.K. Rowling haunted this alley/street. Very basic. But, it's lovely at night, and if you don't mind paying top dollar, you'll have some bragging rights.

Stopped here for a pre gig pint - good choice of proper cider. Quirky surroundings. Quite echoey so noisy back ground sound so making it hard to concentrate on conversations. Upstairs is as large as downstairs but with carpeting, seating and another bar - felt...More

Nice food, good choice, lovely cocktails Reasonably priced Went for a birthday night out with friends and it was very enjoyable I will return with my partner

We're back in our home town for a Christmas visit. This place used to be our local. What a change! Sticky floors, sour faced staff and the place stinks like a men's toilet. What a shame.

reasonably priced & friendly. doormen much more chirpy & helpful, than intimidating. great people watching gallery upstairs. no negatives.
