Lovely area to explore and people watch. Sat at Mangos and had a lovely cream tea and scones. We wanted to rent bikes at the Saddle and Paddle but ran out of time during our visit. Maybe next time.

One of my favourite parts of Exeter. The water and the swans and ducks make it really special. Some interesting shops to browse and good coffee, food and bars make it a lovely place to spend some time.

I gave this 3 stars not because it is bad it just doesn’t have enough unless you another reason for a visit like want to go on a boat trip or lunch in the excellent pub/restaurant etc. You might rate it higher but for me...More

Great selection of eateries, from fine dining to chilled boutique cafes. Often very busy and a few lovely little shops worth having a look at too. If you love swans you'll be in heaven.

The quay is a great place to visit and eat. Unique shops. Nice for a walk following the canal. We had breakfast in Mango down the steps was really tasty.

Found our way to the quay and discovered much to do: cafe bars, coffee houses, the fascinating customs house, miles of walks/cycle rides/boating. Check out the climbing too!

Exeter quay has everything you’d expect from a city quayside. Coffee shops, craft shops and restaurants. Its nothing out of the ordinary.

Stand and just watch the swans, ducks and gulls or walk along the bank, nothing could be more relaxing or lazy . This is one of those places that makes you feel that nothing else matters.

Don't know I'm afraid. They should be pretty much every day in the summer.

It is a short walk from the Cathedral, less than 10 minutes. However part of the way is a bit steep which could be a bit uncomfortable for someone hat does not find walking very easy. There are alternative routes, which may... More

Hi Kay, Yes, most of the little craft shops are open 7 days a week. 'Quay presents' stays open I think until about 5pm, and the other cellar shops stay open until 5pm too.
