We visited the quay in April whilst in the area visiting and recommend it for a nice day out. There are some good places to eat, you can hire cycles for a nice ride along the Exeter canal and if the sun is out, it...More

Had the brochure and looked forward to our visit. Very disappointing. Run down. Nothing happening except a small shop and antiques centre. Luckily a bus cam and took us away to the town centre

We were visiting the Cathedral and had parked up in the 'Cathedral & Quay' carpark, so decided to climb down the steps and explore the Quay. We are glad that we did. Going back to when the Exeter was a busy trading area, the Quay...More

At least once a week my husband and I come up from Torquay to the quay whether it’s by bike, canoeing or visiting for lunch/dinner! It has a lovely vibe especially in the summer! I love it :)

Beautiful weather helped to make time spent at the Quay a lovely experience. So many swans & ducks seemed to agree! The pub alongside the quay was excellent with lots of tables outside in the sunshine!

The quay is a favourite of mine at any time of the year. You can do a lovely walk in a loop over the bridges, stop for a coffee or an ice cream and pop into the lovely independent shops. Definitely worth a visit!

We walked all the way around the quay. The weather was lovely and as the sun was beginning to set the quay looked really nice! Lots of swans, ducks, cormorants and other small water birds. There was some building work underway for a new plaza...More

It is a short walk from the Cathedral, less than 10 minutes. However part of the way is a bit steep which could be a bit uncomfortable for someone hat does not find walking very easy. There are alternative routes, which may... More

Hi Kay, Yes, most of the little craft shops are open 7 days a week. 'Quay presents' stays open I think until about 5pm, and the other cellar shops stay open until 5pm too.
