This gallery should have been the center piece of the St. ives arts festival but was closed more often than open. Further, it was not particular impressive for amount or diversity of art.More

What a lovely gallery right by the sea and with a wonderful collection to peruse and buy (I wish...). Stunning to see some work by the likes of Heron and Nicholson. Well done everyone.

If you like to visit galleries this one is not to be missed. With a wide selection of paintings, sculpture and ceramics it has a large open feel to the space allowing easy viewing.

It's always worth stopping off in here on our way to town, as the displays really showcase the local art & it's fitting the the building is part of the old pilchard industry

The Porthminster Gallery is brilliant - a real gem. The owners really know their stuff and always have an incredible collection on show. We have bought art from them through their Own Art scheme.
