Wonderful scenery along the route, well-marked path. Am walking the whole route. Around Hayle itself is not so exciting but around Carbis bay and St Ives is highly recommended

the path is good in places but often turns into a rocky scramble which will challenge the less nimble. great walk especially if you do the whole of St Ives to Penzance

Cornwall have decided to charge disabled drivers to park. That's every where you go and it's expensive. Will go to Devon next time.

This walk is quite challenging on the best of days with stunning views. After snowy winter and two days of rain,it was boggy to say the least, gators and poles were essential. Best views for lunch

Great coastal path with fantastic views. Fairly well kep path but muddy in places. St Una Church to see on way to Lelant. Walk down to St Ives in other direction. Plenty of other routes too.

Walked from Carbis Bay Hotel to St Ives - well worth the effort for the sounds effects without any traffic noise. Some uphills but downhill into St Ives.

Love walking the South West Coast Path. The scenery is breathtaking. Not suitable for prams or wheelchairs. Not for the faint hearted. Many coves, harbours, villages and pubs to explore. Hard and challenging terrain in places. I recommend planning before undertaking and part of the...More

A pleasant walk, easily graded with a few steps over footbruces across the rualway line. Signposting to the path at the St Ives end is not very good though.

A superb and interesting coastline to enjoy at all times of the year. Some areas are challenging and some are easy to wander along and explore . Look out for seals!

Most of the Coastal Path is very well sign-posted. We used an OS Map to plan a circular walk from Halsetown, out to coast path west of St Ives, then back through St Ives and back up to Halsetown. We parked on the roadside in... More

Dogs will love Coastal walks but must be kept under control. Also on SOME of the Beaches dogs are allowed. But check which ones are. Signs are all over the beach access points.
