There was a special September Festival exhibition being set up as we were about to leave the next day. But we were so impressed we both bought a lovely piece of porcelain art by Julie Harper, who exhibits in the Whites arcade off Back Road.

We were privileged to be invited to a private view at the opening of a local artist's exhibition (the wonderful Lauren Sebastian). It is a wonderful, intimate space for appreciating art, right in the heart of St Ives.

This is one of my favourite galleries in St Ives. I've seen two exhibitions in Salthouse 2 which is on two levels and has an intimate feel. It is now one of the regular places I'll be going to.

Really enjoyed this gallery. It had several artists featured working in all types of mediums. Different budgets able to be accommodated, too. Pop in and plan to spend some time just enjoying it.
