This is a lovely sandy beach , great for children - but beware steeply shelving at high tide. I saw a seal there on 2 days too! There is a cafe with takeaway facility and toilet (at the top of the very steep access slope).
Really love the beaches and ocean views in St Ives. Bit windy in some places but Porthgwidden is sheltered and has a lovely size bay with loos and a cafe. Perfect to swim or just lounge and read a book.
