Nice clean small sandy beach with a cafe overlooking it and car park above. Sea is crystal clear. Dog friendly end of October to 1st April.

Jus5 when you thought you have all the magical gems of St Ives along comes another. This beach is absolutely amazing in a wild way. You feel so at home with nature here.

Amazing views from the cafe. Friendly service. Did not eat so cannot comment on that but had a relaxing drink.

What's not to like? A wonderful beach, sheltered and clean. Great cafe that serves great food in the evenings. Glorious.

We love this cafe and call in frequently when we are in St Ives. Coffee is lovely and the delicious food is carefully prepared and presented. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are all wonderful

Porthgwidden beach - another sandy beach in St.Ives. :)) I was only on this beach once.:) I do not know, somehow did not interest me, I prefer other beaches in St. Ives. :)) During the summer there is very busy. Mostly I see families here....More

Porthgwidden beach in St Ives is a lovely sheltered beach perfect for children, it is sheltered from strong winds and consequently from strong surf, it is very safe for bathing and swimming, a picturesque little beach

On our visit there was a "no dogs allowed" sign at the entrance to the beach.there is however a dog friendly beach a five minute walk away.
