Very disappointed indeed. Greatly overpriced. Art?? we didn't think so!. Miserable man on reception. Dirty cafe. To be blunt, a waste of money and time. Go walk on the beach or round the Island and spend your money enjoying a coffee. To sum up, the...More

I am a member (Tate Modern) and I greatly enjoy the Tate, but I do consider that the art found here and at the Tate Modern to be ridiculous nonsense. Well worth a visit if you have a sense of humour. If not, buy an...More

Wonderful building, really shows off the mainly locally-connected artists very well. Introduced to some new artists who look set to become favourites. And yes, the cafr is worth a visit, for the views alone.

Awful, both the special exhibition spaces were empty and in one room there was a guided tour which hogged the whole space so you couldn’t get to see the exhibits. Tate St Ives caters only to tourists who wand tea in the nice cafe. If...More

What a building! Worth visiting for the building alone! Despite not really “understanding” this type of art - I really enjoyed myself. Take the family - they will all find something to like!

Our first frustration was trying to find the place - we approached from the Hepworth Museum. We approached the Tate from the hill behind and it would have been helpful if the St Ives Town Council had thought to place some direction signage. Anyway, having...More

We weren't planning on visiting the Tate but decided as a last minute option for something to do and it was such a good decision. The building itself is lovely and has beautiful views across the beach and our to see. There are about ten...More

Spent a few hours here and had a great time. It’s small so easy to do fairly quickly but the new addition is really terrific. Increased the amount of work displayed significantly. A must do if you’re in St. Ives!
