Disappointed with Polperro as a place to visit we walked a part of the SW Coast path towards Polruan which turned out to be a pleasant hike with some interesting views. Worth an hour of time if you get caught stopping at Polperro but I...More

This is a 3.5 hour walk and challenging, but well worth the effort. Drop down into Lansallos Bay and experience the hidden gem where the locals go, or the next cover along, Little Lantic Bay and you will find a beach right out of the...More

My wife and I did Fowey to Looe today. The Polruan to Polterro stretch is very hilly. The 7.9 miles is like a roller coaster. If you are not in hiking shape it will be difficult at best. But it is absolutely beautiful. You will...More

As others have reported this is a tough walk, we did it in reverse meaning the hardest part of the walk came first. We were rewarded with some fantastic views on the way and a huge sense of achievement when we completed it. Well worth...More

This was quite a tough stretch of the coast path not least because it was so hot. There was one point where the way marking was lost which was complicated. Also the path was quite perilous at the cliff tops in places. Despite that, outstanding...More

We have just come to Polperro and found the car park attendant very unhelpful and 😡 grumpy! Certainly no service with a smile! We are in a motor home - they want £9 for us to park - I don’t think so !!! We had...More

The coastal path is exhilarating with views over the deep blue sea. Everyone should have this experience to enjoy the best scenery in the world. Entering the harbour at Polperro there is a museum restaurant to enjoy excellent sandwiches and to relax looking over the...More

Beautiful walk between two stunning Cornwall locations. Buses and ferries can return you to the location you began. It is reasonably challenging especially in the first 2-3 kms out of Polperro. One of the highlights of our recent Cornwall trip.

Hi, the bus runs from Polperro to Polruan, not that often, so you do need to plan your walk and timings. From memory it was the 481 and the timetable on line did prove accurate for us when we used the service in the other... More
