Interesting standing stones just scross the road from the Dancing Maidens. Cornwall is loaded with standing stones and these are some of the best examples. Well worth the drive through the countryside. Be careful of the mileage signs, they are never accurate: or a Cornish...More

The Pipers is very close to the Merry Maidens stone circle which is worth the trip but the Pipers on its own won't justify it. It's a simple standing stone.

Part of a small group of local neolithic formations. Sit and ponder in awe at the times gone by. Not so easy to find, and a bit of a trek, but worth it if you're into prehistory.

Park near Boleigh Farm and walk towards the Merry Maidens after 2-5 minutes take the first right onto a grassy lane, easy to spot the Standing Stones from the road. It is possible to get closer for a clear picture.
