Had a lovely week in Mousehole. Meal at 2 Fore Street was best meal I’ve had in a long time. Very recommended. We also ate at the Old Coastguard which was a little disappointing. More on this on my review for them. Worst thing about...More

This has been a family event ever since my 2 son's were in their pushchairs and they are now nearly 30. Years ago it was just lights in buckets but over the years it has grown and visited by many. Beware that it can be...More

This is my favourite spot in Cornwall as it has a bit of everything at any time of year. The sandy harbour beach is great and quite sheltered - ice-cream, newspapers and refreshments just a stones throw away. Calm for bathing and paddling, kayaking -...More

An excellent festive must do. Very Very impressive! Lots of crowded streets on the second night of illuminations in 2017, a real Christmas feeling and buzz to the town. GREAT!!

Not many shops here, it is small but perfect. A couple of lovely shops you can see immediately but if you venture up the little beautiful side streets you come across a few more and some small art galleries. The harbour has parking and you...More

We visited Mousehole on our tour of Cornwall, thankfully at low tide. That provided us an amazing view of the harbor and a realization of how low (and high) the tides are! Walking around the harbor was both scenic and interesting (people watching). Lots of...More

We loved the harbour, the kids waded through the wet sand of low tide. Thanks to the locals for keeping it so kid friendly.
