An inspirational South West Coast Path walk for those who don’t mind a challenge, this route takes in an important 1200 years old ancient boundary wall. This varied walk wanders through the wooded estuary of the West Looe River before crossing the coastal plateau to Talland where it joins the SWCP and follows it back to Looe station.

The Smugglers at Talland Bay is fabulous, stopped for refreshments on the walk then drove back again and had a fantastic lunch, well worth doing and very good value too.

Rather than walk all the way to Talland Bay we had a lovely walk through the woods. The start is at the end of the car park past the amusements in Looe.(over the bridge from East Looe, turn right) There are various paths through the...More

Such a nice day out. Parking fairly pricey, but right by the beach and a cafe by the car park. Its a stone beach, but multiple rock pools and great fun for kids.

A lovely walk from the cafe at Talland bay to the Giant's Hegde. 'One Day the Devil had nothing to do, so he made a hedge from Lerryn to Looe'. Or the Land of Bocconnock.

If you feel the coastal path from Looe to Polperro (or reverse) is too much there is a shorter alternative.... Park in Looe. If you can't get to park on the road just outside the town the official carparks are less than £5 (4 hours)...More

A lovely walk through ancient woodland, the Giant's hedge, dating back to the 6th century. Followed by beautiful coastal views.
