My latest visit was electronic. The shop was given details of a very scarce book in the morning. Less than 4 hours later, we were telephoned to say they had located a copy. My wife was over the moon. What fantastic service!

Tucked away up a hilly side street (Shutta Road), it's hard to know how people find this place. But if you do it's worth it. Booked crammed floor to ceiling, old and new. Very helpful staff. A remnant of independent shops from days gone by.

I love second hand bookshops and visited several on my recent visit to Cornwall. Visited excellent, well stocked shops with knowlegeable staff in Liskeard, Mevagissey and Fowey all were open on the day/time I happened to be passing. I stayed in Looe for a week...More
