The coastal path from Gyllanvase beach across to Swanpool is a great walk with beautiful views out across the sea. Swanpool isn't a very large beach and is quite rocky and stoney, and it's much quieter than its main counterpart. There is a small beach...More

A lovely beach for all to use and enjoy. Great cafe selling a good choice of home cooked food and drinks. THE best ice cream creations. Good water activities to hire. Super location. Ten minute coastal walk from Falmouth. Quiet location. Great for families and...More

Went here in June 2017 with my cousin and her boyfriend. The beach has a great view BUT it is covered in stones and seaweed. Trying to walk to the shore involved stepping on many stones and through seaweed. It is not something I was...More

Thanks for your review Richard. Worth highlighting that in addition to the café and mini-golf, we have a nature reserve with a variety of swans, ducks and other wildlife. The site itself is a bay, sheltered on two sides which has a rich array of...More

Went to Swanpool beach for a relaxing time, watched school children being taught for to use paddle boards and kayaks. Beach is shingle with sand available at low tide, very relaxing way to spend some time in the sunshine.

This was our first beach of the holiday. A nice bay, and a decent beach, but very pebbly - which wasn't ideal for us with a fussy toddler. The main bonus here though was the excellent cafe and seating, which served up delicious salads, ciabattas,...More

Have to say I'm surprised at the four and five star reviews of this beach. I wasn't very impressed. The sand is mixed with a lot of small stones and it reminded me of the mixes you see at building sites. The large flood defence...More

We spent last Friday night after the shanty with friends in 2 beach huts until nearly midnight just chilling on the beach. A great barmy night and a little area of paradise.

The beach may not have lots of golden sand, but it is sheltered and has a number of water activities like paddle-boarding. You can park within 2 minutes walk from the beach, where you can also play crazy-golf, you can also walk around the Swan...More

Great little beach to relax on or just walk around. Lovely little café to get a drink / ice cream. Good car park facility.

Beach is useless. How on earth does this beach have any good reviews is beyond belief. Everything was so dirty and no where near fit for humans let alone families. No idea about the cafe as I'm referring to the beach itself... better to stay...More

I'm astonished to read this review and somewhat disappointed. I take complete exception to the thrust of the message suggesting the beach is unclean and would like to clearly point out that the local council clean the beach daily, our staff will constantly litter pick...More
