Spring in Glendurgan is so beautiful, with great views over the valley as you walk down all the way to the sea. There were so many colourful rhododendrons and spring flowers growing in the banks.

This is another of the Great Gardens of Cornwall that looks amazing in the springtime when it is so colourful. The garden is on a steep slope, the ticket office being at the top. You make your way through the garden and can exit at...More

Arrived by boat and walked up from the beach which provided an excellent view around these spectacular plants and gardens. Some of the slopes are quite steep so make sure you have a good set of walking shoes. See National Trust website for more information.

Fabulous day exploring this beautiful garden. It was my first visit and I will definitely be returning. Loved the Maze and managed to get to the middle and out again in 20 minutes! Started off in the café with a cream tea and then wondered...More

The Garden is just gorgeous - just so much to see and is beautifully maintained, but still looks very natural. Wonderful coastal walks from the bottom exit. The cafe does really yummy food. All the staff are great. I stupidly parked badly and got my...More

What a fantastic place. Could be my favourite national trust place so far. Quite steep and many steps so you must take a carrier if you have a baby, if you want to explore most of it.

On the same day as we did Trebah (right next door to Glendurgan but a bit bigger) we wandered around this place on a lovely sunny afternoon in early May. Camellias, rhododendron, azaleas, bluebells and wild garlic were in abundance. Beautiful trees and to top...More

This is a superb garden although the simple word "garden " does not really do justice to the site. The profusion of planting and the more exotic species make for a very interesting and not quite English walk down to Durgan and the beach on...More

The gardens at Glendurgan are an absolute joy. They are filled with a huge array of tropical trees and shrubs, and I particularly like the way that they blend so beautifully with our domestic species, and our wild flowers. Because the season has been stunted...More

Hi - the village of Durgan is also National Trust owned but dogs are allowed all year round. Access is either along the SW coast path or you can park in the NT car park at the top of the valley and take the half mile walk... More

The garden is a 15 minute drive from Falmouth. You can reach the garden by walking the coast path, it will take 2-3 hours from Falmouth. When you reach Durgan village, you can then access Glendurgan Garden.
