Beautiful weather which obviously helped to enhance the walk with sea views all the way. There is a free car park below the castle and plenty of on road parking towards the beach.

A very popular beach with decent sand. Cafe / restaurants and toilets. Adjacent is a very pretty and well maintained garden that is a lovely place to sit. Well worth a visit.

My title may seem a little over the top to some, but here are my reasons for the claim! It has beautiful clean sand. And gorgeous coastal walks for people that like to be a little more active! Has an amazing cafe right on the...More

it is a very clean beach with life guards on duty, clear warm water, with sandy bottom and rocks either side which is good for snorkeling

Lovely clean beach, busy with activities most of the time. Perfect place to people watch. Bonus of being manned by the RNLI.

Great beach lots to do, sunbathing or exploring the rocks. Good facilities. A short walk from the train station to save on parking.

The cafe here is most delightful, if not a little pricy. An easy walk from the close hotels and whilst it is almost a guarantee that the water will give you frostbite, a lovely beach with good facilities.

Loads of locals, family with kids playing around, unfortunately dogs are not allowed during a certain period of the year, a must go as you will find crystal clear turquoise waters and a nice atmosphere!

What a lovely stretch of beach. Coming from the midlands we only use to dream about places like this. Gyllingvase Beach otherwise fondly known as Gylly or simply ‘students beach’ is a wonderful space filled with golden sand and a young vibrant feel. I was...More

No. There's a website, Cornwall Beach Guide, but I don't see info about horses, only dogs, etc. Good luck - there seem to be plenty on one of the beaches during "Poldark".
