A great city to explore with hidden gems and good boutique shops in the Tudor rows. The intact roman walls are good to explore and offer great views of the city, river and surrounding countryside.

Wonderful Walled City still intact for all to see. A walk around the Walls is truly an uplifting experience providing a birds eye view of Chester and the River Dee.

Its lovely to see as you walk underneath into Chester and my Chester is a pretty place to visit. Lots of great shops and lots of hustle and bustle in the town. I was very taken with how pretty it was. A must see.

Unfortunately, I think this church has closed. I was looking forward to seeing the interior. From a look inside through some very dusty windows, it seems to be closed & the heritage museum is elsewhere.
