We visited yesterday to watch swallows and amazons - absolutely brilliant. Great actors and musicians. Got the children involved in the show and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.
Would definitely recommend.

The main entrance to the park is on Vicar's Lane. It's a pedestrian entrance only but the NCP Pepper Street is very close by.
There are a number of hotels in Chester City Centre that are all close enough to walk to the park.
