Telfords has always been a decent hangout with a good range of beer, wine and spirits. I am now at a time of my life where a degree of cleanliness and freshness shouldn't be too much to ask. The gents toilets were just shocking. Come...More

I have visited here before, and although its ok, it is not what it could be. It is in a great location but the owners seem unimaginative enough not to make it reach its full potential. There is a lethargic sense of yesteryear in this...More

This review is the combined views of 12 couples, and has been a long time coming. We have spent several big celebrations at Telfords's over recent years and eat in the main Resturant upstairs. Not bar food downstairs. Our last visit on Saturday 2nd September...More

Came here again this august and food still amazing (huge portions) and reasonably priced too! Staff friendly and polite, plenty of seating so all in all a great place to eat!

This is a really nice historic building with great decor/atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely food, great selection of drinks (though £5 a pint is a little expensive) and a really good programme of live music most nights of the week and activities like salsa dancing/painting classes...More

Telford's is a fab place for socialising as well as being a great gig venue in Chester. Staff are always friendly and I love their outside space where you can take in the sun's rays next to the canal whilst drinking a cold beverage.
