Well stocked museum with stories and mementos from the beginning of various Cheshire regiments. Things are packed in - sensibly and cleverly - into a small space. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Although there is an entrance fee, it is well worth paying.

This museum is very well laid out. It gives a great history of the Cheshire regiment. There is everything from the beginning right up to date. You will need some time to spend here but it is well worth it.

I made the mistake of taking my wife. A lot of fascinating stuff to read and look at if you are interested in military history and I could have spent a couple of hours.

We popped in to ask a question about Chester Castle. The attendant, Joe, was more than helpful, looking up information on the computer and sending it to me. The museum covers the history of the Cheshire Military with exhibits of their uniforms, armour, artillery and...More

One for the avid lovers of Militaria. Housed in Chester Castle the Museum ambles over a couple of floors. very much an old fashioned interpretation of our Military Might, but interesting in certain ways.

Well worth the £4 entrance fee. We enjoyed looking at all the artefacts and there was lots of information boards and films so we learnt plenty from our visit.
