We did a short river cruise - we’d bought a combo ticket, hop on, hop off bus & boat trip. The boat trip was superb - 30 mins in length, but we saw so much. Would definitely recommend doing this.

It is worth going on the 30 minute boat trip to see the river and building that are only visible form the river.

The weather was good, the river was smooth and the boat was beautifully clean. The bar prices were reasonable and the staff were very friendly. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours on a sunny afternoon.

Stroll along the banks of the river for a different view of the city. One area certainly offers river boat tours etc and will hire pedalos. There is easy access to the walls by the weir.
