I visit Chester Cathedral quite often and continue to marvel at the wonderful architecture and the many nooks and crannies, often dedicated to individual people or causes. There is a voluntary contribution scheme but, even for the lowest recommended entry 'fee' of £4, it is...More

This is a great place. Lovely little gift shop. Bursting with history and a lot to see. The only thing that could be improved was the toilets, quite unclean.

It's a really beautiful Cathedral. Entry is free so don't miss it! You may have the chance to hear prayers depending on the hour you enter in. But you ahould definitely go there!

This wonderful place is so worth a visit. I feel like I want to find more about the work that has been done on the walls as you walk around. It would be magical in December when all the Christmas trees are in place. Only...More

The Cathedral is stunning, had beautiful floral arrangements for Remberence Sunday 11th Nov, there were guided tours available, onsite cafe & toilets, and shop. Unfortunately for us, we had only a limited time available to view such a large & stunning building. Give yourself plenty...More

A pleasant greeting at the door and you enter in to the well stocked shop area with a donations (£4 per person) box to the fore. Confusingly you are invited again to make a donation at the counter as you enter. The building seems larger...More

Beautiful building although the stone work is rather dark, so not a lot of natural light. It is in the centre of Chester so easy to find

I certainly did use my camera. Especially on the Lego project. They are aiming to build a model of the whole of the cathedral in Lego. Pay a £1 and you can add a brick - or more if you're flush! It's really coming on and is... More
