This Roman Experience was really good fun, especially as there was a group of school children going round just before us. Really interesting relics from Roman times, including remnants of walls, mosaics, pottery and other odds and ends. Each of the scenes were set out...More

We felt this place was difficult to find, down a narrow side street with only one sign. It gave us some background regarding putting Chester on the map by the Romans. There was a short video and everything was labeled clearly.

We came upon this place by accident and we thoroughly enjoyed our couple of hours in there. Lots to see and experience and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The ticket price was cheap enough that we were not expecting too much and we...More

Dewa seemed to have been tucked away, almost out of sight. It is a great pity as it is an interesting museum with lots of finds to see. Chester could take a look at Jorvik in York to see how to improve this site.

Very interesting little museum, lots to read and the archaeological sites were particularly fascinating. There seemed to be lots of interactive things for all ages and the gift shop was reasonably priced. The staff member dressed as a roman soldier we met was very helpful...More

Quite a lot of interest in this museum, particulalrly the archelogical dig exhibits. We didnt do the experience thing . Only negative was that it was very difficult to find indeed.

The museum is way below what we expect from a historic place like Chester, not interesting if you know a thing or two about romans in the uk or archeology. BUT to roman tour is exeptional! Very knowledgeable and friendly guide in full roman outfit....More

Interesting to read and see the exhibits, but nothing really there to make you want to come back to see more. The gift shop was uninspired.

As per the previous comment - it doesn't spring to mind that the venue could accommodate your situation but do give them a call. Enjoy your stay.
