The museum is way below what we expect from a historic place like Chester, not interesting if you know a thing or two about romans in the uk or archeology. BUT to roman tour is exeptional! Very knowledgeable and friendly guide in full roman outfit....More

Interesting to read and see the exhibits, but nothing really there to make you want to come back to see more. The gift shop was uninspired.

Interesting trip, was just spoilt by screaming, ill mannered school children who were not properly supervised by their teachers.

It must be fantastic for locals to have so many places for the kids to interact with their own history. We enjoyed our Dewa visit which was both interesting and thought provoking. This is well worth a visit with plenty of interesting facts and historical...More

Brought our class here and although the Roman soldier patrol and museum tour was good, we didn't feel the staff were very helpful and were somewhat rude. In all the years I've been a teacher and all the school trips I've been on, I've never...More

Thank you for highlighting the need to read the Pre-visit information prior to bringing a group of children to our centre. Additionally, undertaking a Risk Assessment and even taking advantage of our offer for a pre-visit are all great ways to find out things like...More

It doesn't cost a fortune here £11 for the two of us adults. It has lots of interesting information but some of it is really hard to read due to the red lettering on the parchment.

We got a discount here because we’d bought a bus/boat ticket - every little helps ! Excellent history about the Romans - well set out & lots to see. A school party was due in - I’m sure all kids would enjoy this.

The price is very reasonable. The museum is very informative with lots of information to read. However, it does not provide the sights and sounds experience as promised. It might be that I misunderstood, I though the museum would emerge me into Chester in Roman...More

As per the previous comment - it doesn't spring to mind that the venue could accommodate your situation but do give them a call. Enjoy your stay.
