Currently closed for refurbishment... Visited Chester today April 2018 and staff at the Tourist Information Centre informed me that the attraction is currently closed and there are plans to relocate it more in the city centre. Which should make it a lot more accessible. Unfortunately...More

Excellent place and very interesting. Adults as well as young people enjoyed it very much. It is only a small interactive musuem but is worth a visit if you are walking the Chester walls. Very reasonably priced

This was something we had been looking forward to while in Chester based on Trip Advisor reviews. We were extremely disappointed to find that it was closed due to "immediate maintenance issues".

The exhibition is housed inside 2 towers located on the city walls. It is interesting to see the tower interiors as they are not accessible unless the exhibition is visited. Don't miss the opportunity to see a fully restored Camera Obscura in the first tower...More
