Lovely service, with friendly helpful waitress. Bar lunch was reasonably priced, really tasty, and served quickly. We'd definitely go back when next in the area.

We stayed in the nearby hotel from Friday to Monday. Friday night we could hear the shouting from the "Beer Garden" at the back from 11pm. until 1.30am. Very loud music again from the back of the pub on Sunday. Although the band was good...More

Beautiful home made soup with crispy croutons and roll. Partner had pie, mash and veg. Both very nice meals with good service. Feels a completely different environment than that of a Friday night.

Unpretentious, traditional and comfortable pub with a conservatory bathed in natural light and a beer garden. Vegan friendly Aspall cider is available but the main focus is on real ales which of course are normally fined.
