Beautiful home made soup with crispy croutons and roll. Partner had pie, mash and veg. Both very nice meals with good service. Feels a completely different environment than that of a Friday night.

Unpretentious, traditional and comfortable pub with a conservatory bathed in natural light and a beer garden. Vegan friendly Aspall cider is available but the main focus is on real ales which of course are normally fined.

Had Sunday lunch there today. Staff very friendly. Because of the weather we were able to eat outdoors. The food was very good and plentiful. Only downside was that roast beef was unavailable. Decided on pork and that was very satisfying. Huge Yorkshire pudding, definitely...More

The pub is a bit on the 'dingy' side - but if you are looking for really good real ale, this is the place to go in Ely.
