The mathematical bridge was a highlight! Loved walking across it and thinking of all the famous scholars who crossed before us on this bridge. Then walking through the gates of the stately Queens College buildings. Very impressive.
Someone designed a beautiful bridge, and clearly "did the maths" to make sure it would be very sturdy. It's visible either from the Spring Street bridge (probably from where this photo was taken), or from a punting boat.
We decided to have a day in Cambridge.. its only 52 mins from where we live on the train. We had a list of places to see. The bridge was high on the list.
