Went on a punt on the River Cam and went under numerous bridges. This bridge was very interesting and worth seeing.

No, it is NOT true that the Mathematical Bridge was designed by Isaac Newton and was originally held together with no nails or bolts until some curious students pulled it apart and couldn't figure out how to put it back together again... even if it...More

I saw the bridge during a morning walk at Cambridge (2015). Is a wooden footbridge, looks like an arch. Is called mathematical bridge due to its structure. That's it! Is also famous due to the myth (fable) that it designed from Newton. For a better...More

We went on a punting trip with friends and family and had a perfect view of this bridge as we went under it. Something the locals say you need to do.

We saw this bridge from a nearby bridge and then underneath when we went punting. The construction of the bridge is intriguing and worth looking at.

The Mathematical Bridge is located inside Queens collage area but you can see it from outside. The story behind the bridge is what makes it so special. Would highly recommend checking it out and reading about it before hand.

The mathematical bridge spans the river Cam at the back of Queen's College and can be seen from the next bridge down. There is a myth that this bridge was first built without nuts or bolts.
