Traditional punting in Cambridge, England. College river tours by experienced local guides. With a wealth of local knowledge and many years experience of Cambridge punting we can ensure that your trip along the backs is an experience that you will remember forever. Our punt chauffeurs are well trained and experienced. Because punting is for most a seasonal job many chauffeurs work for a summer and have often only been working for a few months by the time they reach the end of their tenure. Wherever possible we use chauffeurs who have been punting on the Cam for several seasons - either students who return for their holidays each year or local residents who work in a more full time capacity. You won't get a robotic recitation of facts. Whilst every river tour covers as much (or as little) of the history as you require, each chauffeur offers their personal take on the history and background information and every tour is unique. You won't get a robotic recitation of facts.

My family went punting with Fur as our guide. He did a fantastic job explaining the history of the bridges, colleges and keeping everyone entertained. He was also incredibly helpful when other self-hire punters were getting stuck or having trouble. He was quick to give...More

We had an amazing time on the punt. It was a Saturday and heard it got busy so we thought we’d see how long the wait would be. It was 11.30 and they said the next space would be at 12.45. We wanted to explore...More

Well worth it! Took a group of college students from our study abroad on this and it was a hoot! Beautiful scenery - a relaxing morning on the Cam - and hilarious commentary from the gregarious staff (gold stars to Jake and Dan!!). The students...More

Great tour, interesting and fun. The kids loved it, despite no one falling in! Tour guide Ben was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Wonder view to explore Cambridge via river tour. Some university locations restricted tourists entrances. One way to sightseeing is river tour. Highly recommended.

Great company who also give back to the local community by very generously sponsoring a local under 10's football team. Supplying them with training tops to keep the boys warm and dry during cold mornings, as you can imagine we had 14 very happy young...More

If you love history and watching people fall off boats into the river this is for you. The hour tour was great informative and entertaining. Great value and remember to bring a bottle of fizz along for the ride sit back and enjoy
