Downing Street connects St. Andrews Street and Trumpington Street and has science museums and some science shops located here. Easy to find.

Downing Street may be synonymous with London, but Cambridge has Downing College on the street, and it is one of the most beautiful colleges. There is Parkers Piece on one side and there is the college on the other. There is good shopping options around...More

Not really an amazing 'sight to see'. I recommend you visit the museums off Downing Street, but really that's it. It gets very trafficked up at the weekends!

Central location next to the Grand Arcade shopping centre with a one way system for cars and 2 way for bikes to add to the confusion. Some nice museums and old buildings but so has the rest of Cambridge.

yet another example of an annoying one way system in Cambridge, if you miss the car park entrance it'll take c1hr to 'go round again'

Kind of oldy worldy when walking up the street, lots of little shops leading to the big hotel at the top of the road.Can be a busy road so sometimes you feel close to the cars as the road is only one way.
