My little 2 year old loves trains. It was a themed day with Paw patrol around. It also had fire engines demonstrations. Lovely day out even though it was last minute definitely worth it.

Went to the steam event on bank holiday Monday, only criticism would be to get their network sorted, took ages to print tickets and process card payments so took a good half an hour to get in despite coming at midday, lovely to see young...More

What a fantastic day out this was, and 100% dog friendly which was a refreshing change from places that claim to be dog friendly but then place restrictions on where you can and can't go.

A very enjoyable afternoon visit, 3 trains operating, food and drinks available and plenty of museum items all on view, there is a lovely small shop selling 'bric brac' all at senible prices

Spent a lovely day here on a ‘steaming Day’. Quite a bit to look at and of course our son loved the steam train and mini train. Nice cafe and shop and picnic tables outside. All staff were lovely. Will definitely return.

We went here for the first time as our son is a train enthusiast. We are fortunate enough to be able to gain entry under their locals offer for an annual membership which makes it extremely reasonably priced. Our son headed straight for the wooden...More

Decided to go with a group of friends and we enjoyed it. I would recommend you go on the 'steam day' then you can ride for free on a working steam engine. There is plenty to look at and walk around for perhaps 2 hrs...More
