Nightglows, Firework Displays and Mass Balloon Launches are just some of the spectacular events that you can expect during the four days of free, family-friendly fun that make up the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta. Founded more than thirty years ago, today the fiesta is the largest of its kind in Europe, featuring more than 100 hot air balloons, and attracting half a million visitors annually. Nothing quite compares to the daily ‘breakfast and balloons’ spectacle - bound to leave you speechless - while the parachute displays, music stage, fairground rides and more, will help to keep kids - both young and old - happily entertained for the entire day.

This was our first attempt at coming to see the balloons. If you like fun fairs and chaos then you will probably love this place. It was a huge venue but there really wasn't anything worth doing for most of the day - just fairground...More

If taking your family i wouldn't on Saturday. 45 minutes for the toilets, way over an hour queuing for food at 7pm, mass crush exiting the site, 90 minutes to get out the car park. Morning lifts are much quieter, BUT so much depends on...More
