We went on a spontaneous trip and the owner was very welcoming and accomodating! The workshop was adorable and the options for painting were brilliant as well as the choice of ceramics. The prices were cheaper than the other ones we looked at around Bristol and it was such good value for money. I would highly recommend this experience - it was extremely relaxing and fun.

Just finished my (4wks) beginner course last. it was a great experience, made many projects and tried the wheel. Jenny is very supporting, shares alot of information and offers a wide range of supplies. I really enjoyed my time and highly recommend Jenny's courses. The location is amazing as well and overlooks a lovely park

Amazing little studio in the woods with views of the newly recreated wildlife park to inspire your creations. Since moving back to Bristol, Wot Pots Christmas workshops have become a tradition for me and my daughter. During lockdown we enjoyed the kits for painting at home and can’t wait until the studio is back to full capacity so we can have my daughters birthday party there.

I’ve attended several of the workshops and loved every one- each time is different as I’ve been able to grow creatively. Jenny is sweet and endlessly patient - but really knows her stuff! Highly recommended as a solo activity or with a teen, everybody gets something out of it.

Brilliant place for a children's birthday party. We had my daughter's party here last year and came back this year (she's now age 7) as she loved it so much. Beautiful setting, tucked away in Westbury on Trym. The kids love the pottery and the dressing up. Great to have the place to ourselves. Bringing our own party food and cake works well for us (also a good way to reduce our waste). We bought the Wot Pots party bags this year (lovely craft activity and one thing less to sort out before the party). Thanks Jenny. We'll be back! (Pic of party bag craft)

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon decorating pottery to celebrate a baby shower. Jenny is a wonderful host, very welcoming and gave excellent advice so we could do a good job with our projects. Lots of different things to choose from, ornaments, plates, mugs, plaques and even teapots.
After painting and decorating we had our own buffet and celebratory cake. Jenny supplies crockery, cutlery and tea and coffee.
If you are looking for something a bit different and creative this is an ideal place to come.

My wife booked us in for some throwing, and I must admit I wasn't really expecting too much. Mostly as I'm really not an arts and crafts kind of guy and generally tolerate these activities while she has all the fun! But I was hugely surprised just how much fun I had and found myself wanting to try everything and create and experiment some more! We were there for 2 hours and I could have easily stayed longer!!
Jenny was very kind and patient and clear with the instructions helping and giving advice while also allowing time for you to try by yourself if you wanted which was great!
The atmosphere was very relaxed and location was just perfect we are already booked in to paint our items next week and I cannot wait, but more importantly I cannot wait to return and try my hand again at throwing and making more items on the wheel!
Such a hidden gem and I cannot recommend it enough to everyone!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this amazing review. It really means a lot to get feedback and know people have enjoyed them selves.
I enjoyed the wheel session just as much as you guys!

If your children enjoy craft activities, this is a great find. My daughter had a decoupage party for her 10th birthday here and had a great time. Jenny was well-organised and the whole thing ran without a hitch. Highly recommended for a low-stress option! Will definitely book again for my other daughter...

If you are wondering where to take Grandma for a special afternoon treat, look no further than Wot Pots. Hidden away in the woodland behind Westbury on Trym Village is this a delightful venue for budding artists. We chose to decorate animals and were thoroughly absorbed for over an hour. My 2 year old grand daughter was as enthralled as I was.
We had expected more interaction with the resident artist, but in fact she was always unobtrusive and on hand with recommendations if asked.
Great value for money; check the website for costs, which considering the amusement value are not high at all.
You do need to book.
