I used call in here fairly regularly but now only occasionally because beer is now very hit and miss. Used to serve and good range, constantly changing - now is over-reliant on St Austell Brewery, so that you get the inevitable Tribute and Gem (Bath...More

There were 4 of us that stopped for lunch, the service was quick, the food was great, the surroundings were clean and light. There is a steep lot of steps from the car park, not good if you have difficulty in walking, but you can...More

We visited the pub today after running the Bristol Half Marathon and I'm so pleased we did. Good beers and an amazing (huge) roast but mainly it was the staff who pulled out all the stops. Super friendly, welcomed us very early for our booking,...More

Terrific beer - what more could you want from a real ale pub? Perhaps staff that know about real beer? You have that too!

A great Sunday lunch for both meat eaters and the vegetarian alike in our party. Good portions and a great variety of well cooked veg. We even squeezed a cheeky desert in which was also good. We will be back !
