Visited the Rose of Denmark on 27th April as part of a memory lane visit. We found everything was first class, friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the pub which was my parents' watering hole in the 1940s, during and after the terrible...More

We used to live in Hotwells and the Rose was always a regular haunt. It’s mix of quirky takes on classic meals, hearty portions and laid back vibe made for many a memorable meal. Sadly our last visit gave the impression that our once beloved...More

Amazing how they do so much in such a small space. Sounds odd but I always feel a bit special when I go into the bar. Good place to meet friends in too

I can't describe the amount of choice you get for the ploughman's. So many cheeses, meats, vegetables and even fish options. Come here for this alone, but enjoy the pub too.
