We visited between Christmas and New Year having booked ahead of time for a party of 6. Living up to the definition of a speakeasy the door is a nondescript doorway with only modest signage and a doormat cluing you in. The only false step...More

Unfortunately I could not recommend that anyone goes to Hyde & Co for a night out. I have very politely emailed the venue twice since my visit to try to resolve a problem but they have not even acknowledged me, which I can not understand....More

Daniel as ever, an amazing Bartender and GM/Host on a quiet Sunday. Welcomed us at the door, seated us and talked us through the drinks. The drinks were made to perfection with the greatest care and attention to detail. Came in on a date and...More

Really cool speakeasy vibe, had to buzz to be let in. I ordered (several) old fashioned's, best I'd had in a long time! Definitely recommend, as long as you are okay with paying a bit extra for quality!

I had to convince my partner to visit this, as he works in Hoxton and so is far from impressed by ‘shallow and pretentious hipster’ venues, the sat nav took us to the completely wrong street so at the start it didn’t really bode well...More

Stopped for a few drinks after a meal and could have stayed all night! Always nervous about going to ‘speak-easy’ bars as some can be very pretentious. Hyde & Co is not though, welcoming staff, with a very relaxed atmosphere inside. The cocktails are lovely,...More

Went with four friends on a Friday evening for a 9.30pm booking. Busy but relaxed atmosphere. Staff were friendly and efficient. Cocktails were very tasty. It's got the dimmed lights that you get in such places, but it's not too dark - I find that...More

We returned to Hyde and Co with friends a year after our last visit and the place was still as charming, cosy and quaint as ever. A knowledgeable, kind staff, coupled with great cocktails make this hidden vintage gem shine. Even the menu itself is...More
