We enjoyed the VIP package giving us use of the Ambassador Room for pre theatre and intermission drinks. That experience which complimented the hugely amusing brilliantly staged production of "The play that goes wrong".

After a recommendation for " The play that goes wrong" we booked tickets and a two night stay at the Bristol Hotel. The Hippodrome is tired and cramped. We were in the Grand Circle with little or no legroom. Maybe when it was designed and...More

Visited to see The Play That Goes Wrong and at the interval a glass of wine cost £8.50 per glass and a bottle of beer £6+. Ice cream £4. This is unbelievably expensive. The cost of drinks at Bristol Old Vic are much cheaper etc....More

Disappointing. They were trying clutsy entertainment which just didn't work. That's not what they do. Not enough dancing. Left before the interval. It was more butlins than Blackpool. Shame.

What a show highly recommend. Nice traditional theatre. Go to the pub next door at the interval will save at least 40%

I wouldn't recommend the boxes on the side - I was sitting in the Grand Circle at the weekend and the people in the side boxes had to lean over to see part of the stage - the view is restricted
