This hidden jewel, maintained by the National Trust, is in a league of its own. Originally medieval, it has been extended over the last 500 years sympathetically. The result is a small but stunning house with a homely ambience. There have been no tittivations by...More

Visited the delightful 14th century manor of Clevedon Court on a very hot Sunday afternoon. Entry is timed so you may have to wait to get into the property. Once inside there is quite a lot to see in the area that is open to...More

We visited Clevedon Court which is only open in the Afternoons of Wednesday, Thursday etcetera. That was after visiting Tyntesfield. There the comparison ends Tyntesfield is a large house where all the staff were friendly whilst Clevedon Court appears to have been worn-out & this...More

Interesting house covering several periods of English History from Mediaeval to present day. Knowledgeable guides and good room sheets. The garden was full of interest. Timed tickets but entry every 5 minutes os no long waits. Very enjoyable.

There is a small cafe located outside of the house but in the grounds. It served drinks and snacks. I am not certain about whether they take work experience placements?
