The views from Cabot Tower are the best in Bristol. You can see all over the city - the SS Great Britain, the Mendips, the harbour. The walk to the top is narrow and you have to squeeze to the side to pass people, which...More

Victorian watch tower like many towns and cities. Used for the torch display through celebrations. Could have been used to watch for safety of Bristol. Far too high for me to climb but just looking from the inside gives you a clue about the structure...More

Loads of steps and it is quite narrow but you get rewarded by great views from the tower. Free entrance, loads of squirrels in the park, landscaped gardens and a nice playground for the kids.

Climb the Cabot Tower and you’ll be able to see for miles (on a good day) across the City of Bristol. The grade II-listed structure is found on Brandon Hill, roughly a twenty-minute walk from the main shopping centre. Terrific three-hundred-and-sixty degree views are on...More

We walked to it from the centre of Bristol. It’s free to get in. Lots of fairly steep steps to the top of the tower but so worth it for the amazing views. Enjoy.

It depends on how fast and fit you are. Probably on average 10 to 15 minutes would be about right but if I was you I wouldn't rush. It's an old building and the steps are not as even as they are in a modern building. It's... More
