Look at the ferry timings and select one of the options. It's one of the things you must do if you are staying near the bay.

We went on the Ferry boat on an all day ticket which was around £11. You could get off and on at any of the stops

We took the taxi from Castle Park to the City Centre ( harbour area). the crew were polite and friendly, a great way to see the sights.

It's not expensive, prices vary from around £1.50 to about £4.00 depending on how far you go and if you want a single or return fare. See the Bristol ferry website for details. Hope that helps!
