Easy access to Start Aldhelms Head is by parking in the free car park at Renscombe. This gives level access to the headland and coastal path. Note if you want to go to Chapman's Pool it is a steep climb in places.

Went here for a walk and the scenery just takes your breath away! So much to see. It's a fantastic place to go for a walk any time of the year. Plenty of people about. Wear appropriate shoes it can get very muddy!

This is one of the few places on the Purbeck coast where you have excellent views both east and west. Approached from Worth Matravers there is a level walk of just over a mile to the headland. Approaches by the coast path are much steeper....More

A beautiful stretch of coastline for a stunning walk. We parked in the car park in Worth Matravers and completed a 5.7 mile circular walk, down towards the sea and along the coastal path to St Aldhelms Head and Chapmans Pool. Quite a challenging walk...More
