What a fabulous outing this was. The caves are beautifully preserved and naturally presented. Our tour leader was witty, charming and well-informed. What a tiny speck we are in the greater scheme of existence and time. To think that a stalagmite grows only 1cm in...More

Had a very friendly guide. I wouldn't go to both Maropeng and Caves as a lot of the info is repeated. The caves are good for kids.

We toured this world heritage site with a terrific guide Mthandeni Khumalo with Mthandeni Tours. He made it a great day with his knowledge and experience. Highly recommend him!’
