About
After a long and impactful 30 year run, Majestic Ocean Kayaking has closed their doors. Majestic was the first company to begin kayaking tours in the Ucluelet area and we will always be grateful to them for paving the way. They were the first to let the world know about the unique wonders and dramatic beauty that can be experienced here from inside a kayak. Because of a long-standing relationship and our shared values, Majestic has entrusted Hello Nature Adventure Tours with their email list and set up a forward from their website to ours. To avoid any confusion this may cause, we wanted to let you all know about this change before you went to book your next adventure. If you are a past client of Majestic’s you may even recognize our owner, Kevin! He spent 14 years guiding at Majestic before starting Hello Nature. He knows how beloved the signature cookies from their tours are and wants you to rest assured, we will be keeping the recipe alive!

We had a great tour. The guides that had, Travis and Morgan, really like to kayak and I felt this was much more than a job for them, and as. A result we had a great paddle.

The first night there was not enough food but there was extra snacks at the end that no one used. I wished that I had asked if there was more food

The kayaks had plenty of space for all of the gear and the tents were very comfortable for 2 people. All of the campsites had pit toilets which was much better than I expected.

I have been wanting to kayak the Broken Islands since I first heard about it 14 years ago while hiking the West Coast Trail. It took me way longer than expected to make it back to the Pacific coast, but I’m so glad I finally did. I had hoped to do one of the multi-day tours, but our schedule didn’t quite align this time, so we did the full day tour instead. Everything was well organized and safely run. The guides were knowledgeable and very helpful. The scenery was spectacular. It rained a lot, but I think it added to the magic. It felt like a quintessentially Canadian experience. My only recommendation would be that if you get a rainy day, remember to throw a complete set of dry clothes into your dry bag for the boat ride home. This will definitely cut done on the chilly factor! Lunch included a tasty sandwich, a really good cookie (want to share the recipe?), cut up fruit, and hot drinks—definitely welcome on our somewhat soggy adventure. Hopefully we’ll make it back someday to do the multi-day paddle!

It was another perfect trip w Majestic Ocean Kayaking in Ucluelet, B.C. !
I was touring with them frequently, because they are so well organized : you arrive and your bundle of equipment is already prepared, with your name on it - booties, jacket, kayak skirt and vest. The kayaks are in perfect shape too. I went for the Broken Island Group tour this time : a day tour with a lunch stop (was delicious !). We saw otters, seals, sea lions, lots of birds - and even a humpback !
The guides are excellent, they make you feel safe.
I‘d love to go on another tour with them next year again…

We had an absolutely amazing time on our broken islands group day tour! Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable and we felt totally safe out on the ocean. He adjusted the tour to suit the things we wanted to see and made sure we had the best experience possible. We would highly recommend this tour and this company for a fun, exciting and authentic sea kayaking experience!

The experience was sublime. Beautiful small islands and quiet waters. Wonderful paddling with great guides. They helped whenever required and ensured absolute safety. Good lunch on remote and lonely beach. Some history thrown in. Very memorable

We had a fabulous trip with Eric and Felipe as our guides. The seas were calm and paddling was so perfect and scenic. We were lucky to see so much wildlife on your excursion: humpback whales, bald eagles, sea lions, seals, sea otters and more! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in sea kayaking and observing nature. Top notch!!

Felipe was our amazing guide for our 3 hour excursion. He is passionate about kayaking and sharing his knowledge about the natural environment. Felipe was very positive, patient and encouraging. Everyone on the team was lovely. An absolute must for your visit. We would definitely do this again with Majestic if we are ever in town.
