Drive up the road called 'Cypress Bowl' on a steady incline half way up the mountain. It'll take you to a clearing on the right where you will overlook Vancouver. It is a great place to see the land, the water, the city, the bridges...More

Drove up the mountain for the view but also to walk Yew Lake trail. Very nice trail which is barrier free so suitable for disability scooters and prams. Easy walking through a variety of scenery. Generally well signposted. Only walk able during summer/autumn as covered...More

It must be a really spectacular place in winter. In summer the tracks are not suited for any other sport. There are few observation points on the way up. Nice views of Vancouver. Nice developments as well.

I have decided to buy a season's pass for this coming year. The skiing here is great. It's so close to Vancouver. I really don't see the need to drive up to Whistler. It is good once in awhile but Cypress will be my go...More

Good slopes and trails. May be a bit too crowdy in the mornings on the weekends and holidays. Best time to go there is afternoons and weekdays.

Apparently this is the best place in Vancouver to do skiing. It is much cheaper than whistle and has many more trails to choose from when compared to grouse mountain or Seymour. Skyline is terrific and you can feel that you can touch the sky...More

Winter time, it's freakin nuts. Way too busy. It's like a race through a shopping centre because everything is 50%. People clutter up the mountain, clog up the lines and get in my way boarding down the mountain. I've been smashed into, hip checked and...More

There is nothing to open. You simply drive in and park, then get out and look.
