    Birthday at the Spa
    The service received was very good and I was made to feel extra special on my birthday with a gift, card and specially wrapped gown. The workers are all polite and friendly. The facilities are clean and well accommodating for the size of the spa. If you want to do a treatment with in pairs be prepared to pay an additional fare for the room.

    Beautiful environment
    Treatments were professionally done. Serene environment with no noise. You are made to feel comfortable with the soft music and excellent quality of beds and towels. The ammenities in the bathroom are well thought of. Unfortunately the steam room doesn't work during loadshedding, that was my only disappointment. Will be back!

    Great Experience
    My friend and booked sessions that allowed us to use the facilities for half a day which was awesome. the welcoming was great and the hostess was amazing too. the massage rooms are very intimate and have showers in them and both our therapists were amazing and very friendly. The only thing that I think was a let down was how packed the pool area was which resulted in other groups making a lot of noise which was unpleasant. I think maybe they need to have limit to the numbers or maybe not serve alcohol at the pool as that might have an impact. When it comes to service they definitely know what they are doing a 10/10.

This was the most horrible service that I have ever received in any life day spa. We were 3 ladies booked for pure bliss package. We are arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time as the sms received stated. We never used the spa facilities because the therapists immediately worked on us and as you are aware you can't go to the steam room after a facial. During my facial I was told that plugs are not working so I didn't get the steam. After we left the spa, I realised that I forgot my smart watch inside the pocket of the gown. I immediately called the spa but there was no response and I then sent a WhatsApp message. And I got a response that housekeepers will be asked to look for it. After 30 mins there was still no response as I kept on asking for feedback. We walked to the spa as we were not far, having lunch. When we got there, there was nothing done about my request. I went to check in the changing room and the bin was empty. My number was taken and promised to be contacted. Went back to the restaurant, I couldn't eat. I kept asking for feedback and I was told it was not found; I sent a picture of my watch as it is fairly new. I was very frustrated. We walked back again in that extremely hot weather. When we got there the lady(Lisa/Zenesha - chubby white lady) I was talking to on WhatsApp was cold as ice, no emotion and not bothered. I asked to be taken to where the laundry was done, I personally searched the gowns and there were only 2 sets of gowns. One was in the machine(didn't find it there), the black lady who took me there was assisting me to search. The other set was on the floor, we searched and found it. I was so pissed and I still am. I've been to different Life Day Spa and the reason I always recommended it was because of the service. Yesterday, I felt like I have wasted my money, my time,my fuel... we stay in centurion and we drove to Fourways to be pampered not to be stressed out. Before i left the spa i asked the lady who are I was chatting with for her name and she said she's Zenesha. I thought to myself she could easily lie to me because she didn't have a name tag and as I was driving back home I sent another message and the lady said she was Lisa. I have all the conversation on my phone and I'm still disgusted by the service. Lisa said she will take it up with management but I made it very clear that I would give feedback on my experience. This was my first time going to Life Day Spa fourways, I've been to Waterfront, Rosebank, Lynnwood.... I have never ever been treated like people are doing me a favour for a service that I paid for.

Completely disheartened and disappointed with the experience we had at Life Fourways on the 28th of June. My partner and I were looking forward to a relaxing treatment.

The massage was weak and unenthusiastic. We were rushed through our forms and told to get changed quickly as the Spa only opened at 9am and we were booked for 9am. We were then told that the getting changed portion has taken away from our treatment.

My partner and I have completely different skin types yet the exact same products were used on use which left my skin dry and flared red.
The entire facial was an unpleasant experience as my therapist continued to use a cold towel...in the middle of winter.... and applied product inconsistently and missed parts of my face.

I had booked a promotional voucher and when we were leaving were told to pay in an additional R900 which we declined and explained why we would not be as we booked specifically for the voucher.

Disappointed is the least I can say about this below average experience.

I’ve been to Life Fourways quite a number of times before and this latest experience was the worst and quite disappointing.
Firstly, I could not get the massage I had booked and confirmed because the therapist who does it called in sick… not sure why only one person can do it.
Secondly, the person who called me on the day of the massage to inform me that I have to change my treatment did not explain the offer properly… I was told they can offer me the CBD Oil massage which will be complimentary and when I asked for clarity, she said I would not have to pay. Only to be told when I got to reception that I’d need to pay for a Swedish massage and only get the CBD oil add on complimentary - if this was explained to me properly over the phone I would have made alternative arrangements to make sure I get the massage that I want, instead I was made to pay for a massage I did not want in the first place.
To make things worse, when my therapist Sinikiwe completed my treatment, she gave me water and told me I could relax because the spa closes at 7.30pm, next thing a minute after she exits another lady walks in to tell me to “please get dressed and leave as they are closing”. She was rude and abrupt. Even if it was closing time, to be rushed in that manner as if I’m not a paying customer is just unacceptable. Don’t book clients for 5.45pm appointments if they are going to be rushed to leave at 7pm. And make sure your therapists are aware what time the shop closes.

I made a booking for 4 ladies.
Which was 1 mommy to be package and 3 Swedish massages. When we were leaving we left in a rush and paid. Upon arriving at our destination and we had time to check the invoice we saw they charged aroma therapy which was a different amount to what we were quoted. So they charged 2 aroma therapy and 1 Swedish massage.

I also included an oxygen therapy treatment and which was quoted for 60min on the website for R195. When we saw the invoice they charged a different amount and the therapist also confirmed the special amount but that wasn’t charged.

A few of the people came early and we came in later but we apologized being late as we understood they had a timeline, but they kept going on even in the treatment rooms of how annoyed they were that we were late. Even though they were speaking in their language they thought we couldn’t hear what they were saying.

I was doing laser hair removal treatments and the lady that was seeing me had to go into isolation. They told me that they would let me know before the end of the day what the plan would be going forward, but nobody phoned. I sent a message the next day and no response. I eventually phoned 3days later only to be told they are training someone new and would let me know as soon as the lady is trained before Thursday. Again NOTHING. I am one week overdue and it is now interfering with the results of a very expensive treatment course. I am not happy and will not be going back!!!

I have been going to LifeDay Spa in Fourways for months for Endermologie. My therapist Yolandi always ensured my treatments were top notch.
Unfortunately about two weeks ago she was unwell and when I returned to her after she was better, for some reason someone started knocking on the door furiously about 10 minutes before the end of my treatment to ask the machine be moved to their treatment room. My therapist apologized for the inconvenience, and explained diplomatically that there were some issues with scheduling.
Then on Wednesday this week I arrived a few minutes late due to traffic, to find that the Spa had double booked the same treatment and the other lady booked for the same treatment at the same time had arrived and been served. I was asked to come back 3hours later which didn't work for me. Then the reception team said the manager, Shelley, would call me to explain, she never did.
This morning, Friday, I returned for my appointment and asked to speak to the manager, Shelley, before my treatment. At first she questioned the facts, demanding to know who told me there had been a double booking. Then she explained I should have been offered an alternative treatment (I only come for endermologie, I have no interest in other treatments, she would have known this). Again no apologies. When I asked how to ensure mis-scheduling would not happen again or what to do to make me feel like a valued customer, nothing was offered.
Whilst the therapist I saw is lovely and professional I am sorry to say I will never set foot in this spa again. The manager treated me appallingly and when I asked to write a complaints in the complaints book I was told there wasn't one.
I do not recommend this spa to anyone.

I have been to this branch before and this was a terrible experience. I made my booking via mail and WhatsApp. When I phoned to confirm, they had booked me for the wrong day and time. They corrected it and. 3 times they had the time and treatments wrong. Absolutely unprofessional and a frustrating experience.

Upon arrival, they could not find my booking, every time we were asked for our booking name they could not find it and then eventually found it. Your system needs work, not my responsibility to keep reminding the staff that the booking is there!

Food: The bed was dirty, the previous people’s champagne glasses were still there and not cleared until I had to ask them to do so! There were napkins and toothpicks laying around our bed, extremely unhygienic. I had to ask the bed to be cleaned 3 times until someone finally did! The food was terrible. I ordered a spaghetti bolognaise, I received a fettuccini bolognaise and dead average for R120, no, that is unacceptable.

I will not recommend this branch ever again!

I had a very bad experience on Saturday the 4th March 2023, my husband and I book for a 90 treatment 30 mins of the detox float and 60 mins an aromatherapy massage. The detox float was amazing and then we went off to do our massage, it started well but a few mins into the session we started hearing noise from some noise were from the cleaners or other therapists that were getting ready for their clients, there was opening od cupboards and dropping of stuff, also the most annoying noises were people chatting every few mins, it was very disturbing. The last issue was my therapist forgot to put my hot pad on my neck when we turned over, to be honest the whole hot pad and foot sock was what brought me back for my second visit to the Spa. Unfortunately because of the noise and I was quite annoyed that I didn't get my neck pad it didn't end my experience well.
I went down to look for a manager to explain my concern and I was told she was busy sorting out other issues, we stood at the reception hall way for 5 mins then I asked where she was again, then I was told to have a seat when she is free she will come to me, over 20 mins had passed I wasn't waiting any longer by now I've had enough and make my way to the change rooms to shower and get going, has I enter the change rooms she comes in 2 mins later and say " you looking for me". In the change rooms infrint of all the other guests.. so I said to her I've been waiting for you for over 20 mins and you now you come and she says "yeah I had alot of other issues to deal with", that alone tells me that there was alot of issues going on there. I explained the noise levels and she says " ok fine we will have to look at the cameras and get back to you". I was I utter shock, look at the cameras, like I was making this whole situation up??? Very distasteful, I explained to her that I don't need for her to get back me I expected at least and apology, I was going to pay for my treatment in full which is what we did, i wasn't looking for anything for free or a discount. I waited for her to explain the issues thats happened and I got a bad attitude from her. She failed to realise that I was doing her a favor by giving her feedback and not the other way around.
All in all, we wont be going back it was convenient and fairly priced but I rather pay more and drive alittle further for good service.

I have used the spa several times in the past. Overall good service but when they get it wrong it really goes wrong. I booked the pure bliss package for my birthday. The massage therapist was unfortunately so rough that I had to ask for a different kne. The manager never came to ask me what the problem was. They sent a 2nd therapist who came to sort out a problem she didn't knpw. I now had to guide her through how I wanted my treatment. It was overall not a pleasant treatment for both myself and the therapists. I asked for the manager to call me and still waiting to this day! So even with other treatments going well my birthday was spoilt and I therefore rate them zero for my experience

I booked 3 treatments; facial, Swedish massage and reflexology.
I lay on the massage take for over 2 hours, instead of feeling like a pamper session, it felt like a marathon. You can see it’s all about numbers and how many people can be seen to each day. Service is not a priority. At all.
