My experience on the Wild Eye trip to the Mara Triangle was a game changer for my photography. The expert advice, vehicle positioning, scene description and expected events and camera settings were explained in an easy to understand way. It made learning such fun and the ability to process each day with the editing skills on hand meant my photography has been elevated to a new level. I can't wait to go back next year with my children. A special mention must also be made of the wonderful team on the ground in the Mara Camp, the vegan food was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The camp offers everything you want without the excessive luxury. Such a comfortable home amongst the Maasai people and the wildlife.

My first Wild Eye safari exceeded all expectations, and I look forward to many more future Wild Eye experiences. From the logistics and office team, to the local accommodations and guides, to the Wild Eye guide, everyone was top notch! Wild Eye made navigating travel during COVID-19 smooth and stress-free. Andrew Beck sets a new bar with his guiding and photographic instruction, and I look forward to traveling with him again. I cannot recommend the entire Wild-Eye team enough!

What can I say...I did 2 trips this year with Wild Eye and wow...they were again great! In Aug I went to Nkurru Lodge in Madikwe and in Oct I returned for a second time to the Wild Eye Mara camp. Both are simply great affordable trips. I have learned so much from the entire Wild Eye team about animal behavior and photography. It's been a great time! The Wild Eye Mara camp is just simply amazing. Has everything you need and is so incredibly genuine. You can have your stupid luxury safaris, I would take this trip any day over a fake luxury lodge. The entire staff at the Wild Eye Mara camp are hands down the most beautiful people in and out. Even the short time has left an indelible mark on my soul, one that makes me smile and ever grateful. This coupled with the amazing local guiding and the Wild Eye photographic guides makes this one of the best experiences one can have. Hands down. I am less than one month home and I have already booked my next trip with Wild Eye! Thank you!

This was my 3rd and 4th tour with Wild-Eye, as I combined Mana Pools and Hwange with The Best of South Luangwa, (and a couple days in Vic Falls in between.) Not only was this a perfect combo, but Judy and Xander helped me coordinate all the travel, which would have been quite challenging on my own. I had so much fun, great accommodations, food, G&Ts, and great wildlife sightings/photographic opportunities. Plus I learned an incredible amount and each trip I take seems to bump my photography to a new level. My hosts Gerry and Johan were amazing, and took care of every detail along the way. Zimbabwe was wonderful, and the camps were amazing, but it was Zambia that completely stole my heart, and I'm already wishing and hoping to return in two years. Even in these times of Covid making travel more of a hassle, the WE team arranged for all the necessary tests, making country-to-country movement less frustrating. If you're looking for a great photographic tour, look no further. You'll just have trouble deciding on which trip to take!

If you are looking for a photographic safari company and unforgettable travel adventures all in one, look no further than Wild Eye! Wild Eye has put together the best of the best team, from the guides and the local staff in camp, to the logistics folks in Kenya and South Africa, they offer incredible service for every aspect of whatever adventure you choose! This was the first trip to Africa for me and my sister! As one could imagine, planning a first trip to Africa can be really overwhelming. When I met Gerry from Wild Eye in NYC in 2019, I had an immediate vibe that these were our people. Gerry said tell me what you want to see and where you want to go and we'll make it happen! And WE did just that ...and more! I started following the team on social media and we never looked back. Due to Covid, we had to postpone our 2020 trip to 2021, but Wild Eye kept in constant communication and made the logistics of rescheduling as easy as could be. When the time finally arrived, before even leaving the US, the office team, Judy, Tanya, Elizma and Andrew (and everyone else not on the emails) worked tirelessly to make sure we had every detail needed for travel and all our bookings etc were squared away. Wild Eye was even able to secure us a last minute night at Giraffe Manor so we could check another bucket list item off our list! We traveled to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda, and Amboseli NP in Kenya, on a WE privately guided safari hosted by Michael Laubscher. Mike was simply the BEST! As soon as we met up in Entebbe to begin our trip, he was smiling, kind, and immediately felt like seeing an old friend. We're pretty saavy travelers, but having Mike to assist in airport transfers and knowing all the small details of the places we were staying and seeing was invaluable, and made the whole trip/traveling part a breeze, even with Covid. Mike was super patient with us amateur photogs and taught us how to take better photos from the basics on up. He also took the time to teach us how to use Lightroom and edit our photos which is something I didn't have much experience with previously. I'm not a professional, and have always enjoyed taking photos not necessarily for the technical aspect, but mainly to capture the memories of the places we've traveled. Traveling with Wild Eye has taken my photography to another level. I was truly inspired. Every single day we saw incredible sightings. Even when conditions were challenging for a great photo, we created something unique and still got the shots, all thanks to Mike and the local guides, getting us to where we needed to be and in position to shoot the best! After leaving Amboseli, we traveled to a scheduled week at the Wild Eye Mara Camp. Mike continued on as one of the hosts and we also met Nelis and Jimmy our local guide and driver. Every single person working to make this trip happen is amazing. Dickson, Tenke, Pauline, Monica, Mary and all the rest of the camp staff were wonderful, beautiful people through and through. The entire week was truly unforgettable and we already can't wait to return! The location, the accommodations, the staff, the hosts were just perfection. You really feel at home as soon as you arrive and every need is met. They have a saying that you arrive as a guest, but leave as family and this is 100% true. Words just can't do it all justice. Add a trip to the Mara Triangle and Enkishui Camp with Wild Eye to your bucket list asap because you MUST experience it for yourself to understand it's magic. The trip exceeded expectations in every way. So much so that I can't imagine traveling again without WE by our sides. The best way to travel is with Wild Eye, they'll change the way you see the world!
